Welcome to Boxall's SPAR Pelynt

OUR STORE
The Boxall family connection with the Pelynt business began in 1929 when Sam Harvey and his daughter Violet took over the running of a small Post Office near the current store. Then in 1967, Violet’s daughter Molly and her husband Fernley built a shop next door to the Post Office and set up a small village convenience store.
“We were only in our early twenties and I wondered what on earth we had done,” said Molly. “But we made a success of it and in 1979 we switched to SPAR and haven’t looked back. It has just got bigger and bigger over the years.”
Fernley and Molly are still involved in the store but the day-to-day running is now in the hands of their youngest son Paul and his wife Sophie.
